Hey all, I have an sot and mainly only use it for small amount of suppressor sales, I'm doing a suppressor for a very small town police chief, and he is going to check out a ump45 what is proper wording to submit with sot for making it all legal? Any help would be greatly appreciated, my guess would be on their letterhead describing make model with his contact info and signature, just not sure if there is a correct format I need to follow, thanks in advance

cool thanks, spoke to police chief as well as LE rep at Rock River Arms, and 2 other class 3's just making sure my understanding was correct

Be model specific. NFA will approve multiples of same model under certain circumstances. If the MP5 you located reads MP5A2 on the form 3, but you specified MP5 in your letter, it will not be approved.
