Look, it's a good story. But I'm not going to recant anything that I said over it. Sure, if that one in a billion situation occurred, you'd want the airline to do what's right. (I'd fight to the death to let a little girl bring her pet, in that case) But we all know that ain't how it typically goes. And that's a one time deal. When that girl is 30, one can only hope that she's received proper counseling, and is no longer hauling the family pet around in coach class. Everyone else can learn to fly like civilized people. Or else I'd like some consideration from the airline. Especially considering I earn status every year on retail tickets, out of my own pocket. We're all flying together, with no say of who one another are. So let's get it down to the least common denominator, so that we can get along as best as possible. Leaving your fucking animal at home, is a great start.
