I think DeSantis would be a better choice. Rick Scott sponsored and signed the red flag law in Florida with GOP supermajority backing, not DeSantis. I believe he has better principles than Trump. Regardless, the swamp will do the same thing. DC is a lost cause. DeSantis should stay in Florida where meaningful work is more easily done. Kristy Noem should stay in south Dakota, etc. The way forward is through nullification/secession.
