Movie Theater DRIVE

Re: DRIVE

I actually enjoyed it. The opening scene has quite a hook. The lead is surprisingly beleivable. The story has some interesting twists. The directing is a clear rip-off of Michael Mann, in a good way. There is some good violence and some good action, but it's not generally over the top.

The musical score leaves something to be desired, and the final song is downright annoying . . .

I don't always plan on watching a movie a second time, though some I watch over and over again (Fight Club). I'll be watching this one again.

Re: DRIVE

I saw it last night. I thought it was awesome. The lack of music gave it that No Country for Old Men vibe where you are really into the character and want to see what happens next. The plot is kind of standard and not too complex, but hey, you can't knock a movie for that IMHO becasue not every movie can be Inception.
And yes, there are some good twists. In summary, i thought it was a great movie.

Some people can be "Eclectic", I guess.

I guess I'm not one of them. Worst movie I've seen in years. Absolute worst. The music (noise) that went along with it leaves EVERYTHING to be desired.

My wife says "it's just downright boring-shitty".

That's saying something. She avoids swearing.

Re: DRIVE

i didnt like it, honestly i thought it would be more car driving and action than what it actually was, thought the trailers where misleading. although i thought the elevator ass kicking seance was quite good and detailed
