Can I just say that was the most boring video ever... i made only to 1:07 and lost complete interest.

Droid Incredible owners, prepare yourselves to become upgraded. According to our sources, an OTA update is readying for deployment to the DI which will add some much needed features that were missing during the device’s initial launch. Can you say 720p recording? Mobile hotspot feature? The Droid Red Eye boot animation it should have always had? Yep. All of that is on the way.

The photo proof above is from a DI owner with a test model that has already received the update. He’s also provided video of the new boot animation…

My phone doesn't have the signal issue, I tried moving the bars changing the grip, didn't work. My only issue is ATT here in Denver, the 3G sucks, but turned off it works flawless. So I, connect via wifi home and then make calls on the Edge network and everything is groovy.

You droid boys just never got over your princess leia fetish, so the idea of a droid in your pocket excites you.

personally I came in late to the game so Jobs is pretty irrelevant to me.

Yeah I have a Droid but both phones are pretty cool. Att sucks in my area too.

The iPhone Droid argument reminds me of the Mac and PC debate.

The Droid X, coming to Verizon on July 15th should be a great device.
4.3" screen compared to the Droids 3.7".
720P video with an HDMI-out port.
No sliding keyboard.....who needs it with such a large screen?
Mechanical shutter on the 8 mega-pixel camera......should be much better than the Droids.
It can become a 5-device local hotspot for other wireless users.

I don't care what phone someone chooses....but I am glad there is competition.

The single largest complaint I hear from iPhone users is the crappy AT&T service....but the phone is "awesome".
To me that seems akin to swapping out the mall-cops golf-cart for a Ferarri.......what the hell is he going to do with it?

I am pleased with Wifi Analyzer, MotoTorch, GPS Status(can be used for determining distance between two points... among other things).
I use Touchdown to connect to my companies Exchange server for mail, scheduling, and contacts. I like it way better than the Google Exchange crap.

Google earth is a great app too. Shooter is the best though, first app I purchased.

The Droid x just seems way to big, I want a phone not something the size of a stone tablet, to each their own.

Droid-X is going to be great, the Evo is a great phone also. They have Flash which iPhone will never have because Steve Jobs is a assclown. I'm stuck with the iphone because I'm stuck with ATT.

Well, if someone was watching rumors earlier this year they would have known that Apple was negotiating contracts to make a CDMA iPhone at a second factory. Maybe you weren't able to load that page due to ATT's inferior service...Yes, iPhone is coming to Verizon. Even though I am typing on a Mac as we speak, I still may stick with an android.

But keep in ind that ATT&T has locked it down to some degree, I guess because they're jerks.

I've been using Froyo (2.2) on my Droid for a few weeks now and it's amazing. Better battery life, phone runs cooler and it flies. The benchmarks are a substantial improvement as well and pretty much destroys anything Apple makes. Shhh.. don't tell the fanboys though since none of them believe facts.

I plan on getting an android phone sometime in September when I get another upgrade on my contract. The main reason I'm planning on an android is to write my own programs for it. Already playing around writing a basic Mil/Moa application. Nothing fancy, but why pay money for iphone apps when I can write 60% of the ones I'd use?

Well I hate ignorant,but if I don't ask I will never know. I just got my first smart phone> It's a Droid. The first app I want to get is the Shooter app. How do I get it though?

On my daughters I touch I went to the apple store from my home pc, and downloaded a Ballistic program to I Tunes. Then I put it on her I Touch. Is this how you do with the Droid? Thanks for any info.

You have a program on the phone called "Market".
Open the program and search for keyword shooter.
Pick the one you want and download it.

My wife has an Iphone and I love to use it when I am home. I didnt get one since I figured it would be a waste of $30 a month for the billing when I am not home that often. My FIL has an Android thingy and its cool.
