We usually do this at least once a year.
It's a great way to cover a lot of ground and to get to those way back spots that most turkey hunters don't ever see.
We had this one at first hoot.
We set the hook with some sweet tree yelps, and then reeled him in with a flydown cackle, some yelps and a few cuts. A little bit scratching in the leaves put him within reach of the Benelli gaff!
Plenty of room in the boat for coffee and pastries too
