Were you ever The Wolf ?

@Kemper Please tell us another story

McDonalds tried fucking with The Wolf on Friday . Fuck around and find out.

Friday morning I went to the McDonalds on Karsh and was waiting to order and witnessed 3 orders being taken at the opposing lane before my order was taken . I just blew it off, didn't say anything and thanked the lady after she took my order.

I go to the pay window, pay ,and go to the Pick-Up Window . I'm told that it will be a few minutes for the hash browns and was asked to go to space 1 . I said that's okay I'll wait right here . The lady leaves the window, comes back and says again that it will be a few minutes. I told her that would be fine ,I got all day. She leaves the window again and comes back and says I have to go to Space 1 or get a refund. I told her that I would think about that.

She leaves the window and comes back and tried handing me my money . I refused to take it and she asked what's wrong and I told her I was still thinking about it. She leaves the window again and when she comes back she hands me my food and tells me , in a smartass tone, that she hopes I have the day I deserve . So I sit there and start checking out what I have in the console and contemplate if I need to take any of that stuff back in the house when I get home. She returns to the window and asks what the problem is now. I tell her I'm just waiting for an apology for the way I was talked to.

She leaves and the manager comes to the window and asks what my problem is. I told him it's no big deal and that I'm just waiting for an apology for the way I was talked to.

I get a somewhat lengthy sermon but the last word of it was " sorry" although it didn't sound sincere, but I said Thank you. I set there for another moment contemplating on if I handled the situation as I should have , was satisfied with myself and I continued to Drive-Thru and came home.

So sitting here thinking about the day I deserve , I decided I deserve to tell of my experience because I've been through this many times although I never said anything before and just complied with the directives I was given. I was not in a bad mood this morning and it was almost typical procedure now going through the Drive-Thru . I guess I just wanted to use the venue as advertised . It didn't even phase me how people were acting and I didn't get angry or disrespectful but just wanted to use the venue as advertised . If I wanted to sit in a parking lot I could have done that for a few minutes before I went to McDonalds .

The thing is that it is too often that a person has to sit in a parking space and wait for their order. That's my opinion and I don't think that me choosing to use the venue as advertised over another option should be looked upon as a negative thing. I do realize that they made other people behind me wait longer in line but by me allowing them to catch up, they probably didn't lose any time overall.

I was in business many years and I never asked one of my customers to do anything, and certainly not many times, to do something that wasn't fair to them so I could make more money. It seems to me that if they can not get the food out in an advertised manner ,they need to quit taking orders till they are caught up. Choose serving, as advertised, the customers you have over trying to see how much money you can make by serving more customers in an unprofessional way.

Kemper describes a frustrating experience at a McDonald’s drive-thru where they felt repeatedly disregarded. After waiting longer than others to place their order, they were asked to park and wait for hash browns. Refusing to move, they demanded an apology after feeling spoken to disrespectfully by the staff. The manager eventually apologized, though insincerely, and the user drove home reflecting on the situation. They believe McDonald’s prioritizes speed and profit over customer service and suggests pausing orders if they can't meet advertised service standards.

No " they " to it. It's not about outcome other than being able to say you used the venue as advertised. It's a tutorial of how to do it in a calm persistent way without being disrespectful or causing harm to anyone .

After that, if you were smart you threw that food in the trash and didn’t eat it. Probably full of spit and pubic hairs. Despicable behavior on your part.
They know me well. Been going there for years and never a problem other than this shit that I never said anything about. Still didn't but went through that drive-thru as advertised.
There was another window in front of me but someone was waiting there . And someone in front of them. And about 6 others stuck over in parking. Lady had to stick her head out the window , gawk around and see the only spot left to stick me.
There is a point where you should quit taking orders, don't you agree?

Nope. You screwed-over everyone waiting in line behind you so you could throw your little temper tantrum and feel like a big shot while you shut everything down. And all for nothing. You didn’t get your food any faster than you would have if you had just cooperated with their request (and it wouldn’t have been contaminated with fecal matter if you had). Instead you held the other customers up while you made your pointless point, and threw a wrench in the restaurant’s efforts to serve EVERYONE as quickly as possible because of your selfishness. Congratulations. I think you said you had run your own business before…it sure doesn’t sound like you learned anything from it. Keep acting like that and someday you’re going to piss the wrong guy off.

Net result was they had time to catch up. Try to follow along.

I'm standing firm unless someone answers what I asked. Waste of time trying to converse with anyone acting like a Democrat.

Had a slightly long wait in the drive through of a sonic. When our food came out they said “your food is free today. We are sorry for the wait.”
Apparently if you waited longer than 10 minutes it was on the house.

If you look at this in a logical sense you can see why the main point of when do you quit taking orders has to addressed .

Lets use for example a 4 hour period with the clusterfuck I mentioned. During that period , unless you had a simple drink order or similar, you are not going to go through the drive-thru in a normal fashion. You ain't getting fries or a hash brown till everyone of the 7 or so people ahead of you get's theirs if that is what they are waiting on also.

So, for 4 hours most every customer had to be inconvenienced . How many customers did they gain by operating in such a fashion? Keep in mind I'm talking about the line keeping moving in the clusterfuck for 4 hours . If they did keep operating in this fashion, they only gained 7or 8 customers while inconveniencing everyone else.

Of course, they do get to the point of not taking orders as I experienced many times

What do you want, a fucking medal, or a chest to pin it on?

Yes, you saved the day. You should apply for a management position so you can show those overpaid retards how to properly "service" a customer.

Happy?

You could have said the IQ of the greasy hashbrowns were higher than the yip yip and we'd have understood just fine.

I am a next level asshole, but compared to your dumbass, I am Mary Poppins.

It takes me literally 20 minutes start to finish to make egg, sausage/ham/chicken english muffin sandwich in the morning while never leaving the house and suffering dealing with people.

Did the SPCA neuter you as a young man? Because you act like a Karen, exactly like a Karen.

No, they are in the business of making money, they have a pretty good grasp on how to expidite orders that works just fucking fine until a self centered asshat drives up and fucks it all up. You were held up because your doppelganger was in line ahead of you doing exactly what you are so proud of.

Seems like some here lied about their age to post here.

If you are ever in this situation and decide to care enough about yourself to not get jacked around note the following :
Be respectful and don't tell them how to do their job .
Don't accept the refund as they are required to give you the food you paid for unless they have a legitimate reason not to.
Waiting on hash browns is not a legitimate reason when 7 people are jammed up ahead of you.
Don't be afraid to tell of your experience while dickheads are present.
