Rifle Scopes dumb question on vortex pst 1-4x24

Re: dumb question on vortex pst 1-4x24

Click on the "subtension detail" link in the link you posted...that is a generally more representative image of the reticle "as seen" through the scope.

Re: dumb question on vortex pst 1-4x24

midway has it as SPF.

if it was FFP, then it would make sense.

like i said, dumb question. it's not like you can just run down to the LGS and they will have one to finger fcuk.

i picked up a PST 4-16x50 and was not impressed at all with the glass. so, i picked up a 6-24x50 hoping everyone was right that the 6-24 has better glass.

i originally wanted the nikon m-223, but i am taking a chance on the mini PST at twice as much. i hope i am not let down again...

thanks for answering.

Re: dumb question on vortex pst 1-4x24

I just got one last week. It does seem small to me. The lines are .2 moa iirc. I see this optic not as a precision shooting optic and wish the reticle was bigger or at least the lines thicker.

The PST 1-4x is SFP ONLY. Reticle is the same size regardless of the magnification.

Re: dumb question on vortex pst 1-4x24

from the stuff i have been reading, the vortex seems to be the winner for more precise shoots. the burris for quicker accusition.

i am understanding that the glass is pretty much the same.
