Just have to get some props out there for Eberlestock customer service. I had a belt buckle crack on my G4 Operator and emailed Eberlestock and got a hold of Bruce there and he had a new buckle in the mail within hours. All of this occurred at almost midnight last night. It was cool to see a company responding to customers that late at night.

A side note, this pack is awesome, and very comfortable with a full load and an LR308 in the scabbard.

Great to hear when a company is taking care of their customers like that. I have the Phantom and love it, just wish it had a bit of adjustment for us folks with longer torsos. Story of my life though, tall man living in a short man's world.

Back in Sept 08, as I was heading up to Alaska on a hunt, I was using my J107 Firefly as a "carry-on" to get my IMPORTANT stuff to camp. In the SLC airport, just as I lifted the quite heavy pack by the top carry handle, it broke. Upon return to Utah, I called EB and talked to Glen. He gave me his addy, which turned out to be his home addy. He personally repaired it himself and had it back to me, like brand new, in about a week.

Another positive review for EBERLESTOCK.
I order a rain cover which didn't fit quite right.
I got a replacement during hunting season in less than 4 days, and they threw in a snow-camo cover for my troubles.
