ANOTHER FAIL!!!!!!! In 1999 the MOS for a sniper was 8541, it didn't change to 0317 until 6 or 7yrs ago. Plus, here he is again claiming to be an Infantry Plt Sgt (0369) with "C 1/7" which is at 29 Palms, while simultaneously claiming to be at Lejeune???????????

HOWEVER, I am confident that someone can access the class roster for class 2-99 and start narrowing down how many "Eddie G...." there are ))))

My best group at 500 yards was about 3.5 inches for 3 shots. Other than that, I am hitting around 4.5 to 5 inch groups. But then again, I don't shoot as much as others and most of my shooting is hitting yotes where you don't have to be perfect.

What is also amazing is that "he stands corrected" the speed on that ammo was 2555fps... I don't chrono very often but I've never seen results that were exactly what the manufacture says bare in mind I'm at 7200' but really!?

My Gunny or Top would have low-crawled through an Ethernet cable to seize my heartbeat for talking shit about their shooting and service records. Looking for any 2nd Mar Div class rosters and class plaques/awards, start at the Scout Sniper school house located on Camp Geiger not Stone Bay I think they go back to the late 80's or early 90's. However those guys tend to be busy and looking for this guy would be a waste of everyone's time. Eddie was using a small Podunk range close to Cherry Point Air Station, if he truly is the operator of his claims he would be working Stone Bay or Quantico.

Exactly, I think the change may have happened around 06, but I was out. I wasn't a sniper, just an 8531 and 0369, and if they changed the 8541 MOS I don't know if 8531 (PMI) is something different now also. Proving a negative is a pain in the ass, but there's only a handful of SS schools in the Marine Corps, even including Hawaii, so it's do-able with the right guy with the right contacts.

He also pulled the vid of (him?) hiding (badly) in the woods wearing a variety of different camo patterns. In the comments for that one is where I believe he made reference to being "OPFOR" for both 1/7 and for 3/8 which are on opposite coasts from each other. Once I raised that issue here (the Hide) he pulled that video as well. With so many threads going, I honestly can't keep up with what has been posted in which thread.

A guy that's even a little bit legitimate wouldn't be pulling his content at the first bit of scrutiny.

ETA: When I was reading those comments on youtube I about pissed myself reading the ones from Marc. I believe 8541tactical also gave him a pretty good pee-pee smacking as well.

I hold it very dear the fact I was able to do so much stupid fun shit as an MSG on foreign postings and somehow not create an international incident.

Shooting .1 MOA/500 yds seems possible to me compared to the fun I had and still maintained a sterling record save perhaps that one incident in 1988 when the Marine van forced a mili-man car to rollover in Moscow. No injuries thankfully but it looked like a clown car emptying save it was on its side.

Best not to pick on this delusional character anymore he may end up making things tough for his mom as he is living in her basement.

There is/was (at least when I was in), an urban course and a mountain course in addition to SSBC and the advanced course.
