Re: Edge of Darkness

Been waiting for this one for some time now. He is also working on a movie he wrote about going to prison in another country where he meets a 9 year old boy who helps him through his sentence. I think it was called What I did last summer. Edge of darkness looks like a good Gibson fit.

Re: Edge of Darkness

Anyone remember the UK miniseries it's based on? I don't remember much from it other that Joe Don Baker revealing at a press conference that he's holding bars of plutonium, so everyone runs away

Re: Edge of Darkness

I dunno.....I kept expecting him to go through the movie doing a "Taken" on all the bad guys after watching the previews.....so, it was a lot slower moving than I expected....

Plus, I don't know if it was my DVD or not, but my wife & I kept having to rewind parts of the movie to listen twice to certain conversations, cuz we couldn't freaking understand some of them. Between Mel's attempt at a Boston accent & that Bristish charactor.....half the time we couldn't make out what they were saying......& that was with my surround sound system on!

Re: Edge of Darkness

Alot of great dialogue...

I especially liked the dialogue between craven and jedburgh...the "thanks for not killing me" line was good and it was sort of the big tip off about Jedburgh

I thought this film was worth watching and had a great dialogue. The Craven and Jedburgh characters made the movie.
