I see SS talking about needing a PIN when I go to certify with the dealer. Do you guys know what PIN they are talking about? Is it the SS kiosk PIN or is there another? I created a ATF eforms account and I don't recall selecting a PIN. Maybe I did and don't remember. Need to sort this out before I go to the dealer.

thanks

I think it’s on the ATF website. once you are logged in, there’s a section for password change and the PIN is above that.
I checked that area, it allows you to change a PIN, but need your original PIN. I think you can reset the original PIN. What a pain.

Think hard back to when you were so excited about the eform launch, and eager to create your ATF account. That 4 digit number you entered on the ATF site when you created youre account is the one.

You'll also need your username to go with the 4 digit pin#. You and your dealer should get a confirmation email from ATF almost immediately upon the certification.
Did my certify on Thursday and the dealer was looking to receive the email and it never came. He said the system has had some glitches. Friday comes and no confirmation, I go in and do it again, comes within a minute.
So certified and pending approval on 1/21, we'll see how close we get to 90 day approval.

I purchased one 11/23 and have still yet to receive my ready to certify email… when did you guys buy yours?

Does anyone know if this process will be the same with each purchase or do we only need to certify the account the first time?

I just got my ready to certify Friday, log onto your account on SS go to "Dashboard" and there should be a "Ready To Certify" button and to contact your dealer. I finished kiosk and paperwork Dec 1, so yours might be ready to certify also.

My purchase was 11/30, everything was in limbo for weeks waiting for efile launch. From my understanding ready to certify notifications began last week. Check your dashboard on SS, should be there. You will have to certify each time you purchase but your other pertinent information from kiosk is kept in your user profile and should be good for a year.

So I did mine today and was patient zero at my LGS. The "hiccuip" (maybe not the right word and posibly does not pertain to all) was that when he logged in he had 43 cans ready to certify. He clicked on mine and less than 30 seconds later I got the e-mail (followed by another that only pertained to trusts). We did the deed (3 minutes MAX) and I got a confirmation from the ATF with a PDF of my From 4 attached. Another 5 minutes or so and my Silencer Shop dashboard had updated to waiting on ATF approval. Moral of the story... Rattle your dealers cage (Nicely. This is all new!) as they may have to do something before you will get the Ready to Certify e-mail. It was stuff I probably wasn't "supposed" to see but as the affore mentioned patient zero we didn't feel like fucking with firing up a laptop, etc. Just wanted to see if it worked! The software name Full Auto is apt as as soon as he started the process it started auto filling and propigating all the information lickity split!
