Gunsmithing Emco Compact 10 lathe?

Anyone used a Emco Compact 10 lathe for barrel work.
It looks like a nice little unit, just not sure if it is heavy or rigid enough for barrel work through the headstock.

I bet it doesn't have a large enough through bore for barrel work. Save you pennies and buy a used lathe that's well maintained, craigslist.com should turn up something in your area.
