I can assure you that we dont have the infrastructure for this, nor do we have the battery technology yet to even get close to the wet dream that is being proffered. Batteries will shit the bed (i.e., not have the "as advertised output") in heat, cold or under load. Fast charging will fuck them up too. If we go down this route RIGHT NOW we will throw ourselves into an economic depression heretofore unseen. Everything relies upon hydrocarbons at this point. Our dear leaders worldwide are playing God, and I suspect they know it.
We aren't going to die, AOC isnt going to be living in Waterworld with Pelosi at her beach house and we aren't going to revamp our electric grid within the next 20 years. Hell, we can't even get the roads done but probably could have with all the money we sent to Ukraine. Those on here decrying the use of fossil fuels - why dont you give up EVERYTHING that they are used in and get back to us in a month. If you are still alive. I mean, shit, even KY uses oil...
Some people here need to get a damn grip instead of listening to NASA and politicians about global warming. Wait, actually you should listen to or at least considerthe opinions of some that were in NASA:
