I've read and searched a bit on this, some of it is a bit dated.
Specifically looking at the LMT Enhanced bcg or maybe the bootleg adjustable bcg.
Working with a 11.3 Carbine barrel, I think the gas port size is .70 will be shooting unsuppressed and suppressed.
Seems the lmt was designed around the 14.5 and some info about its not really suited for shorter barrels.
Anyway, looking if anyone can say either helps in the above scenario. Keeps gun any cleaner, help with gas in face, any other teal benefits?
Also, from a more in depth (engineering perspective) if anyone has the knowledge base. Probably more related to the lmt, does it improve longevity or durability?
