The videos that get posted generally of police involved shootings are usually not very gory, there is more blood, guts & brains in most AAA video game titles.
"Innocence" is often just romanticized ignorance. Adults so quickly forget how much they actually knew and what they did as a child.
If you do want to keep your kids "innocent" then they shouldn't have any internet access not directly supervised or TV / media watching without supervision.

I'd say if your kids is old enough to be interested in shooting, and are allowed to freely browse the internet & happen to be browsing here, then there are worse things for them to see than learning in detail that life is not like a video game, guns are not toys and you can't go playing GTA in real life & expect to respawn and start over each time you start a shootout with the cops.
It might help some kids' attitudes to see how fast you can go from big bad thug who thinks he is so tough with a gun to roadkill. Or for that matter going from idiot trying to film something stupid for social media view hits, to dead or permanently disabled.
If you don't think they are ready for that, then you should probably not be letting them on the internet without direct supervision, as the internet these days is pretty much a direct unfiltered highway to all the good and evil that anyone does or imagines.

If you are worried about a "spouse" seeing a police involved shooting video... they might actually need a reality check.. really bad things happen to random people every day, let alone bad dudes reaping the wages of being thugs.

First world problems..... being worried about what your kids might see on the internet when you don't control their computer usage
