I cant seem to find much info on there new rifles but they seem interesting. For close to $1000 you can get a semi custom rifle. Anyone have any information? Think I might try one out for a hunting rifle.

You can even put a Counter Sniper scope on it

Re: ER Shaw rifles

Just go to ER shaw website and you will find a link to go to the rifles. I seen a article in FIeld & Stream. Top 20 guns or something. They are affordable and have 100's of options. Said it will really hurt the big guys if they dont follow suit.

Re: ER Shaw rifles

There's a review over on longrangehunting.com ER Shaw MK-III 6.5-284 Review
John Barsness spends a lot of time not talking about actual group sizes and alot of time talking about the cartridge and how great his handloads are.

Personally, I think this is a better deal. "Skunkworked" SPS Tactical Skunkworks is a member here. I ordered one last week for a "truck gun." I am however having it bedded in a McM HTG stock.

Re: ER Shaw rifles

I'll have to check them out. I had them put a barrel on a Ruger in 7mm RM and I've been very happy with it. It seems to shoot pretty much any bullet I've tried in it very well. It doesn't seem to care if it's clean, dirty, cold, or hot ... it just puts bullets where I want them. Last time out I made a first round hit with a clean cold bore at 500 yards on a 8x11 steel target. I'll give them more of my business in the future.

Re: ER Shaw rifles

For the price of these rifles I think alot of people will try them. They must be as good or better than a factory rifle. I am not saying these are on the same level as the full built customs, But they seem interesting. It might change the way guns are made and priced.

Re: ER Shaw rifles

I have read a little about them in a couple of of the Handloader magazines. All articles had good things to say about the Shaw rifles. They even do wildcat chamberings of one of my favorites, the 6.5-06.
