Error?

Quite often, but sporadically, when going "back" out of a thread a small popup appears saying "snipershide error".

To which I just close it, and continue on. What's that about?

I'm running Firefox here.

Same here. IE and Firefox both. Does not effect anything after the "error"

It is just a lag in the loading of the social media stuff, it does' t mean anything

I have no idea what that means, if you are trying to say there is a malware issue, i like to know the issue in a more serious manner as jokes don't help me maintain the site properly if there is in fact an issue.

To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has blocked this website from displaying content with security certificate er rors. Click here for options...


I get it on EVERY single post when I'm on an NMCI box.

I strongly suspect you are using cross site scripting and I know for a fact it's blocked by DOD computers, thus throwing up the error...

(advertisements are causing this in laymens terms)

The database error just posted is not related to the single error line.

I will contact the server company about it, but they are two different things.

Yeah, I knew that, but thought it prudent not to start another thread entitled Error, when I was pretty sure you were monitoring this thread fairly diligently. Actually, I intended it as a credit to the job you do addressing issues like this. I hope that is how it was taken.

They updated the security on the servers and hiccuped the database, we had to optimize them again.

Frank, I think it was on the main page, while I was clicking on my message alert..I tried to type in the addy that is in the HTTP line, but I get a database error, so I can not get back to the exact page that message was given to me on...

I need to know the pages, I found one page where someone was hot linking from that site... it was the Russian Something or other so clearly someone has either posts made linking this or their avatar linking it.

This is because of a member linking to this blocked site. So I need to know who the member is, or what the links are in order to resolve this problem.
