So I was just notified by my dad that he got a house on the other side of the line in Indiana. So I guess as soon as I'm done with college here in a few months, I'll be escaping Illinois.

What a relief this is. Goodbye, 10% sales tax and gun rights opponents! Hello lifetime carry permit for $125!

DZ, enjoy Indiana. It's a great state. The only thing I wished were different is that you could hunt deer with high powered rifles. In my neck of the woods growing up, you had to use a shotgun with slugs. Besides that, great place to live.

I was sweating a little! Nothing ticks us off more up here than an Illinois license plate blowing by us a hundred miles an hour! Million miles an hour on our roads then we head down there(only if we have to) and get nailed by toll booth after toll booth. If Wisconsin put up tolls for incoming Illinouslanders we would have no debt!....Just razzin you guys and glad your getting out of there!

I'm not a hunter, but I'm pretty sure a few Years ago it became legal to deer hunt here with a rifle as long as it uses a large pistol or revolver cartridge. Probably old news to ya, but I just thought I would pass it on. An AR chambered in .450 socom should work on those critters.

Trolling for speeding FIBs and FISHTABs is a major sport on I-94 for our Blueberries

To hell with the 458 socom, I want to use my 7mmRM!

Still, small price to pay to be a Hoosier.
