Was on a hunt last night and had my thermal hooked to an external pack (no internal batteries in it).
Fired a shot and the thermal shut off. I immediately thought I must have a loose cord but everything was still plugged in tight.
Curious if anyone else has had this and if recoil could effect the battery pack itself. I have it mounted directly on the front rail.
Later fired 5-6 shots and it didn’t shut off but quite a bit of static on the image for an instant when firing. Lesson learned to keep batteries in the unit as well.
