F T/R Competition F and Conventional match at Midland Sat. 7-16-11

Shot a 3x600 Mid Range match at Midland yesterday. Met John Pierce from Pierce Precision Engineering. Great guy, had one of his actions in a Eliseo stock and since he is a Can Mfgr. he was using one on that .308 Win. caliber rifle. I sure wish we could have them in Mich. The report was about like a .22 mag. to my perception. Very nice to shoot next to. Accuracy was excellent too. Extremely nice smooth tight action.

It was hot on the firing line but we all survived.

League match, scores aren't reported to the NRA....

Nice shooting Bob! You earned a few points back that you lost at the Oscadoo match.

Yea at a quarter a point I had to get back to even. Next time don't bring an unknown load to the match, grin.

1000 yd match coming up, that will be a crap shoot. Still waiting to hear about the new 1000 yd range.
