Assuming you're going to a match limited to a single bag, whats your go to? I have a few bags, none of which I absolutely love, and they're definitely not making my life easier on stages so its time to pick up another one. I'm considering some of the more popular ones....wiebad fortune cookie (mini or large?), bison udder, gamechanger....

I really want something that can attach to an arca rail, as I have these on all my rifles, and it seems like it would be awesome. I'm just not sure if that would get annoying to have the mount permanently attached to the bag, or if it's totally worth it.

Whats your favorite bag, and for those of you with bags that can attach to your rifle, do you love it or hate it?

Have you looked at the railchanger kit from area419? You can remove the arm to use it just as a normal bag, so it wouldn't be permanently attached.

All awesome idea so far. Looking into these. As always, Area 419 has some bad ass stuff! I'm currently leaning that way.

+1 for railchanger. best thing i've tried so far.

hasn't completely replaced my regular waxed canvas GC yet. i carry both. only two bags i use

Why? Do you just like having the different sizes? Curious what the downsides are that make it so you can't completely replace the regular GC.

Strictly becuase I’ve only had it a few weeks and just shot my first match with it. Only a few practice sessions. I need to use it more and find out what works and what doesn’t ex: can I leave the spine in and still use it effectively as a rear bag? Is it tall enough for various modified/high prone positions? If it will work FOR ME for all of the above, I will have no problem leaving my regular GC at home.

Also. A few stages where I have to go from prone to a barricade position. I have the railchanger on my gun and use my regular GC as a rear bag then ditch it when I move to the barricade.

The best bag I have is home made. Same canvas and fill materials as the commercially made ones.
It's about the same dimensions as a standard house brick with a webbing strap and buckle along one side. The fill is loose so that the rifle squashes down into it but I can make it firmer by tightening the strap.
It's the only bag I use.

Just got a “Sticky” pint sized game changer.

It’s definitely and interesting design. It won’t stick on any broom stick I own. But I can sit it on almost anything and it won’t move when I try to push it.

I think it’s going to work very well as a good all around do all bag.

I’ll be buying the full size when I can find one.

Where'd you get the pint size from?

+1 for RailChanger and Pint Sized GC Waxed canvas. Has replaced every bag I own; *sometimes* I'll bring a Tac Pad for arm or other fill area. But if only limited to one bag, the ability to lock back to rail, quickly detach and use as rear bag is super convenient. Not to mention nothing touches barrel and it's hands free.

I'll give it credit for helping me win match over the weekend by one point over another awesome shooter. I had a specific stage that I needed just a bit longer to get settled and the RC saves valuable time in transitions. I can focus purely on best transition speed and gain 2-3 seconds per movement, which affords me the opportunity to take one extra breath cycle to settle crosshair on a more difficult shot if needed.

I use a waxed canvas gamechanger. The OG and pint size. I’ve tried the fortune cookie, Bison udder, the Nylon gamechanger, and a few homemade bags. Nothing has been as stable or versatile as the waxed canvas gamechangers for me. YMMV

All I’m running this year is a bison udder and a pump pillow. Went down the bag rabbit hole and I will like it hurt me more then helped. Find one that’ works for you. And practice with that.
