I am getting ready to start load development in an 8 twist 6.5 Creedmoor. I will be using 123-140 grain bullets, and have Hornady and Prime brass. I will likely start with Hornady 140 bthp bullets. Any powder recommendations to start with? Thanks.

I really like H4350 with 140 ELD-Ms. I'm betting your rifle is going to like around 41.5ish grains in Hornady brass.

I use a JP High Pressure bolt, firing pin, and an adjustable gas block in my 22" Criterion barrel 6.5 to get rid of pierced primers, bolt swipe, and other pressure signs that happens with everything from factory to middle ground handloads. I never had to do that with my 308 ARs.

4350 is the slowest I would go for 140gr and up.
    Anything under 140gr use Varget.
Your brass, chamber, and lugs will benefit from the fast for bullet powders.
130gr pills and 39gr varget with Hornady brass should be ballpark goal.
Work up to that of course.
