Just picked up a mk2 tr. It's my first rimfire that I want to be as accurate as possible. Any special break in procedures for the barrel or do I just go shoot the hell out of it?
(After i get a new gun i can start this part)
<span style="font-size: 11pt"><span style="color: #FF0000">Dealer gave me a new gun this morning!!</span></span>
New gun results!!
I figured since i was shooting from 10 yards with my oversized smooth bore i would start from there.
then 25yrds
and on to 50
all this in a 15 mph wind.
Now I can get to work on me!!
If you wanna see what this does to accuracy read on!
