FFL Friendly Accounting Software

Been reading high and low about various small business accounting software that isn't cursed by the Intuit/Quickbooks of the world. Needless to say, I'm coming up short.

In an ideal world, this software would allow a small business to log inventory that's both firearms or firearm accessories with invoicing capabilities tied to call-ins or website orders, and transcribing that data into financial documents that a CPA would leverage for tax purposes.

Looking for recommendations or pointers.

Hi,

They all have their flaws!!! There is not a single system that is great at Inventory, POS, Compliance and Financials all at once.

Software like Windward Software is ok at very best but it does not let you do certain things.
Orchid Advisors "systems" is decent but you get bombarded with useless crap.

FWIW...GearFire is easiest Merchant services for FFLs to deal with.

We are pretty much stuck with QB Enterprise because it is the only system that can account for raw materials all the way to completed products without paying 40k for SAP system.

Also, in regards to merchant services...YOUR BANK is the most important link in that chain. Some banks will hold funds for several days after merchant services deposits them just in case a charge back occurs. Which is absolutely ridiculous because the bank itself is not involved in that process. Texas banks are not immune to that....Amegy Bank went downhill FAST after Zion Corp purchased them. Chase Banks of Texas are dependent on location. The bank in Chapel Hills that requires all employees to open carry is pretty awesome if you do not need Treasury Services.

A tax calculating software is great, but you can never be sure if it is right or not. I am a freelance, and I don't have time to do my bills and calculate taxes. I tried a different method of how to save time on calculating taxes and making the accountancy. In the end, I remained at the Xolo service. It is a company that helps freelancers save time by taking care of their bills to spend more time on the job that gives them the money. In my case, I create a website and website designs, and when I have a lot of orders, I don't have time for bills.
