Just heard this from an investment company buddy, googled it and at least one article showed they are trying to discretely drop gun related businesses. Can't imagine what they are thinking but I'd drop my account if 5/3rd was my bank if this is true.

Thinking Frank could start Snipers Hide Saving and Loan Bank using Army Jerry's ammo as collateral. Could offer humidity and temperature controlled safety deposit/ lock boxes for ammo and gun storage. He'd get half their customers in a hurry I bet. How about put $5,000.00 in savings get a box of ammo of choice per year - better than interest... I'd like 3 free large lock boxes in Michigan for the concept if this goes through as a plan.

Would I still have to file a 1099-INT if I got ammo instead of interest?

That's the same Ohio bank that banned CCW from all its Ohio branches as soon as CCW passed here and the same one where some guy walked into a Cincinnati branch and started wasting people a month ago. How's that no carry sign working out for you?

Fuck them with a rusty piece of angle iron.

As soon as they banned CCW I withdrew over 1/4 million dollars in assets and moved them to another bank that to this day does not ban CCW in any of its branches, anywhere.

Yeah...I had my home mortgage purchased by Fifth Third and after never missing a payment for 25 years and having a credit rating over 800+ they flat out refused to refinance my home and loan me $30K for renovations and improvements. So I paid the mortgage off (about $6500) and took my business elsewhere. So now they get nothing from me.

I'll have nothing to do with them ever...especially since the CCW ban. They get nothing from me ever again.

I dumped them for Chase and could not be happier. I get treated with respect and they appreciate my business even if I'm packing.
