an alumnus from my brother's HS class (1994) went out that way. Other guys on the crew heard the chipper RPMs choke down towards idle and looked over and saw a red mist exit the chute. Speculation was that he had been forcing a large "branch" into it and got entangled. They carried away 2 or more body bags of blood soaked wood chipsAs a climber for Asplundh in my youth, it was getting sucked into the wood chipper.
Apparently it had happened…..
