This city has declared that public buildings are not public , public employees cannot be filmed and police can tell you where to stand and take away 1st 4th and 5th amendments at will.
Notice that taking by the 5th resulted in a criminal charge .
They finally have a place they feel safe , and policy trumps the constitution . No fear of being filmed , no fear of accountability
the state already has nearly 300 Brady list officers so obviously they will hire/retain anyone , I predict a mass influx of statists to the 4 Corners of NM.

New Mexico is more similar to Mexico than any of the other 49.

It is basically Mexico with US dollars and half a population who speak English. A great place to visit if you like outdoor sports and Mexican food. If you pulled the federal facilities out of that state there would be no steady economy, only sporadic income from oil/gas taxes and some kayak rentals. Other than that, no productive activity at all.

But what exactly did these auditors expect to find in a place that is more similar to Mexico than the US?
