I have a groundhog hole in the field next to my shop. I didn't think it was active because my buddy already shot one there last year with my AR. Anyway, the trucker told me there was one out, so I took my .308 and managed to miss it 3 times. Later ranged it at 169 yards.
Took the .308 to the range across the street and managed to shoot this group to confirm my zero. I normally shoot 5 shot groups.
That all happened on St. Patricks today.
The hog came out again today, and at 200 yards I got him on the 3rd shot through the lungs and the 4th shot through the head. My POS shit camera went TU so I carried him back to the shot and took some pics with my phone. I normally shoot better. Its like i got hog fever or something.
