There are about 12 people in congress and the federal government who might not be corrupt, so to think they will ever do anything to damage or out one another is beyond wishful thinking. There will be tons of talk and dance, like these hearings, but in the end nothing will get done. How many CLEAR violations and laws have been broke in the past 5 years where they get talked about for 30 seconds so everyone can get their sound bites and then it moves on. It feels like Trump’s entire presidency has just been a power struggle in Washington with everyone trying to undermind him and/or get rid of him. Even most of the the Republicans. And these hearings have shown that to be true with everyone talking about doing what they thought was more important and talking about it’s wrong for Trump to change ambassadors even when they country they are ambassador to want them gone.
