I recently got back my first custom built rifle. I'm very excited. It was built by Selkirk Mountain Precision Gunsmithing in north Idaho. It's a Gunwerks GRB action. Bartlein 24" bull sporter countour 1-8" twist 5R barrel with spiral fluting. Piercision mini mag 3 port brake. Triggertech Special flat trigger. Grayboe Terrain stock, epoxy bedded, with Grayboe DBM. Magpul bipod on an Area 419 bipod rail. Leupold MK5HD 3.6-18 scope with Leupold rings. Barrel, brake, action, and bolt handle are all cerakoted flat black, bolt body is NP3'd. I'm working up two different loads for it. Nosler 175ABLR's over RL26 for longer range target shooting and hunting past 300 meters. Inside of 300 meters I'm doing a load with Barnes 140 TTSX's over StaBall 6.5. Using Petersen brass for both. The group pictured is with 59.1 grains of RL26 sending 175ABLR's 2774, and 2773 fps. I think thats a node worth looking into. I'd like more speed, but with that consistency and accuracy I don't think an elk would know the difference. Haven't found a node yet for the 140 TTSX's as I don't think I had a proper case fill with the StaBall. All in all, I'm very pleased with this rifle!
