Sidearms & Scatterguns "Flashbang" Womens' Concealed Carry System?

Have any of you seen these or had female friends that have used them? I have gone through a couple different ideas and still can't get my sister to carry even her Ruger LCP consistently..."Because it's soooo uncomfortable!" (Seriously!)

IWB was declared "Too bulky! OMW; I look like I'm pregnant!"
and Bellyband was reported to be "Soooo scratchy and hot!", though she is carrying more frequently now that it has cooled off.

My girlfriend will soon be sufficiently competent with a handgun to start carrying as well, and I really want to find a comfortable way for these ladies to carry concealed...ALL the time. My girlfriend is leaning towards the Kel-Tec PF9 as her primary defense weapon, so gear responses toward these compact/sub-compact pistol types. Both of these ladies are quite petite, though well endowed.

Not the easiest to get women to carry holstered if they're fashion conscious and petite, especially in the warm months or if they typically wear tight fitting clothing. I'm happy that my wife will carry her XD-9 Sub in her purse, and it's rare that you find her without that. For most women if they find it a burden to carry, they'll opt not to versus working with it.

My bottom line advice, work with them to not significantly change their ways or that pistol will sit in the drawer at the house. IWB, belly bands, and anything else that changes their fashion style or they find uncomfortable is not working with them. A handgun in a purse is better than one at the house.

I'm working on getting my wife to carry. Carrying on her person isn't going to happen with how she dresses. So my only option is to have her carry in a purse. Unfortunately she doesn't like anything on the market because they are too bulky. Now she's going to modify a purse she has to carry a DB9. Ill post up aics of what she comes up with.

Very true! The thing is though, these ladies aren't purse carriers in that they almost always grab keys and wallet from the purse and leave the purse in the car. They both recognize the value of carrying, but, as you have pointed out, aren't willing to change much to accommodate the addition of a firearm on their person....yet both recognize that they need an on-body carry system to ensure high percentage of carry. They just want it to be Totally comfortable and not affect wardrobe selection. Not asking for much, right? lol. They also want a tiny pistol that will kill a grizzly with one shot and be recoil free...and a it should also be just as shootable as the 6" revolver they learned on. -sigh- I confess that I am quite exasperated with the whole affair.

Sorry for the delay. I mean, if the gun needs to be re-holstered while say, talking to 911 on the phone or something, there's no way it's happening with that set-up.

I see your point, but not sure that it would be all that unreasonable to take 4 or 5 seconds and reholster before dialing.

My wife has one for her Ruger LCP. It is the first holster that I have found that she will wear everyday! Great set up and comfortable for her. Well worth the money.

If she has to draw her gun reholstering is a non issue. The gun will remain out until it is not needed any more. At that time two hand re-holster is fine. If for some reason she needs to put it away with one hand it can go in a pocket or waistband safely.

There are a couple of channels on youtube that specifically deal with women and carrying I think that would be the best option. I know a lot of ladies goto purse carry which isnt ideal obviously but a gun in the purse is better then a gun at home in the safe.
