Nice. Did the stock come from MGW and is the bottom inletted for the 'wide front' dbm/tbm?

Considering switching from my XLR Evo back to a traditional stock and the $299 MGW A3s are tempting.

For those looking to lighten the trigger, does anyone here have experience with the M*Carbo Model 70 trigger spring kit? Their website video shows him dropping a factory trigger from like 5.5 lbs to 1.5 lbs by simply swapping the trigger spring and removing the two glued nuts altogether. And claims it’s still drop safe. The video shows how to remove overtravel too.

I just bought one and plan to put it in over the Christmas break. My A3G has the glued nuts and is factory set at I believe 4 pounds. I always planned on buying an aftermarket trigger like a Timney or paying a smith to reduce the factory one, but after watching the install video on M*Carbo’s website I was like “screw it, for $18 why not try it”.

My wife has a Lyman trigger pull gauge for my stocking, so I’ll report back once I can try it.

The A3s are all inletted for one piece bottom metal. I've done a couple by dremel and it's not a bad job, just need to use the guide screws and take your time. Alternatively, you can send it to CDI who will inlet their bottom metal for $209 including the bottom metal.
