Food Stamps for Ammo WTF?

I was scrolling thru "RiverofGuns" web site and come across a post on Armslist where the poster was offering up $500 worth of <span style="font-weight: bold">food stamps for Ammo</span>. My first thought was this is taking fear, panic, irrational thinking to a level that is hard for me to comprehend. After reading some of the other existing posts on Armslist's site, maybe this fellows type of thought process will become the new normal for many who own firearms.
How do we maintain faith in the system and get the 2nd amendment house in order with this type of behavior.

I worked with a dude who would take other people shopping with him and use his EBT card and have the people pay him 75% of the value spent in cash. So in effect he was able to get 75% of the total value of his food stamps back in cash. Unbelievable. Anyway, that being said I could totally see somebody trading their EBT money for ammo.

You're assuming the guy actually needs food stamps for food and he would rather have ammo than eat. Most likely he's working the system to have extra spending cash. I saw a woman in Chicago getting into her new Camry from the grocery store. She dropped her receipt. I picked it up because I'm nosey. Sure enough everything was paid for with EBT and she still had almost $200 left on the balance for the month. Here I am driving to work everyday in a 99 Corolla. Sucker.

Where is the funding coming from, and where will the ammo go? Like cash, boats, property, drugs, or guns, its currency.

Here in Seattle they are doing a pistol buy back, $100 Amazon.com card.....

Selling food stamps is as old as the program. I was raised in Saginaw, MI (The armpit of the Great Lakes State) and it was as common as a sunrise. My granpa died slaving away at the Grey Iron plant providing for my dads family. My dad and my uncles all served in the military or worked in the plant to provide for my family (cousins). Meanwhile generations of fuckin degenerates living off the system, wearing nice clothes, driving nice cars, while most blue collar family were barely getting by.

Oh man that really gets me pissed. I hope they get reported and lose their EBT privileges.

In high school and college it was not uncommon to purchase food stamps/EBT for $0.50 on the dollar. Crackheads got crack money and hosts and hostess could buy supplies for their party.
