I know this has been asked a bizillion times.
Ive been in the shooting sports for a while, and am no stranger to the mid-high end optics.
For the most part my rifles sport NF NXS glass, and I'm on the prowl for a new peice of glass for my latest build.
The platform is an M2008 in 6.5x47 Improved.
I'm partial to NF as I have had nothing but the best experiences with thier products, and am anxious to try thier new 3.5-15 F1, but I am wondering what this scope gives up to the not so much more highly priced USO's and S&B's. I've never owned either, and would be happy with one, but for the most part, the only thing I can see myself loosing by going with a NF is internal adj. range with thier 30mm tube.
I'll say right off that NF glass is great for me, S&B glass is great, Premier glass is great...glass quality isnt really a factor for me with these mfg's.
Im weary of Premier and Vortex as thier scopes are relitivly new designs, although I have handled a Premier on the range before.
S&B is really the next stone I'de like to leap to, particularly because I have limited experience with them on USMC M107s, but is all they have to offer over NF is an extra 4mm in the main tube?
