Suppressors Form 1-EForm : 13 business days

So they didn’t except my electronic signature on the 23 form. I uploaded hand signed copies yesterday. Double checked that they were saved. Got an email this morning that there were no new uploads to be found. I looked; sure as shit they weren’t there. I’ll upload again...

Same here on my last approved Form1. Didnt accept electronic on my 23. Got email from my examiner. Printed it out, signed it, scanned it back in, uploaded it to the pending Form 1 in my efile acct then emailed the examiner back and said it was uploaded. ATF approval email 30min later..

CLEO Chief law enforcement officer.

It's supposed to go to the chief / head of the authority given jurisdiction where to you live. Could be City police, county sheriff. In my case it's the county sheriff as I live outside of the city.

Yep, basically just hand it to the front desk clerk when you go in for your finger smudges. It's just going to get lost in some filing cabinet anyways down in a basement or back room.

If you live in a city with a PD, go to your city PD, if you live outside the city or your city is to small and shity to not have a PD then you go to the county sheriff.

Submitted eform 1 for an SBR from Mega Arms forged lower: 10/27/2019
Received email with cover letter and copy of form 1 with SUBMITTED watermark: 11/5/2019
Will mail finger prints tomorrow 11/6/2019

Question: When do I mail the CLEO copy of the SUBMITTED form 1 to the CLEO? Before or after stamp approval?

ETA: trust with 1 RP

My F1's are on a trust, so I put the trust name as the manufacturer. For a F1 individual I would think it would be the individuals name for the manufacturer.

thanks for all the help on here. Finally got it filled out and the damn page to pay won't come up. In communication with someone at the ATF , but still a no go. FUCK!! Damn computers

My 9mm can just got submitted on 11/18, but didn’t get my cover sheets right away like I did for my 22 can. Nothing in my forms section, either.

I’ll email tomorrow if it still hasn’t been sent. Hoping to get this before Christmas.

Update: not sure why my 22 was different ( got my cover letter right away), but it took 1 week of “research” before my status went to “submitted” and I got my email cover letter. The 10 days to submit them starts when you get that email, as that is the actual day it is listed as submitted.

Hope this helps someone else.

I read that you can send in a form 1 and build a suppressor once you get the paper work back, with a waaay shorter waiting period. If this is true, here is what I would like to know.
Where can you buy QUALITY parts to build one? I’ve seen the tubes and washer stuff and even a napa oil catcher. But I would like to build a really nice unit that actually is good quality. I’m sure I’m not going to get something that has a tricked out super engineered ratcheted quick release locking thing with zero poi shift. Direct thread will be just fine for my application. Thanks and good luck with your endeavors.

Yes, wait times appear to be under 45 days, some shorter. It is a very simple process, once you understand what is needed.

https://quietbore.com is where a majority of us are getting our kits.
