Suppressors Form 4 wait time

Called NFA branch last week and was told it would be approved in Dec. Prior to this, they said it would be done in Jan. Today I got told it was going to be approved in Nov! Anyone else call and got an approval date estimate change?

Don't go by what they tell ya.

You'll get a better idea by watching what others post here.

Paper or efile? When did you go pending

Ahh, you still have quite a wait I'd imagine.

I went pending same time but trust efile. Hoping it comes back next week

I called a few weeks ago and they told me January

Lucky you! on NFA Tracker, Efile seems to being approved right around now. regular trust and paper will hopefully be done in a month or two. I have lamberger who is pretty quick too.

It's a terrible let down accidentally clicking on the first page of this thread and not realizing it looking at all those wait times is kind of depressing now.

I was thinking, wait, what happened all of a sudden we are back to a couple months wait time?! Oh shit, wrong page :(

Sadly it doesn't to me either. Maybe one day when I have more money and time I might see what can be done to shorten this wait to a somewhat reasonable time. However till that time in my life I am relegated to waiting on the govt to take an extraordinary amount of time to do a simple task...

Wow, talk about disappointment...

Sent form 4: 5/13/2014
Check Cashed: 5/19/2014
Went Pending: 7/16/2014

If it took that long to go pending...I'm sure this is going to be a lonnnnggg wait.

Pending for the last year or two has been right around 2 months... Stamp issue times have been right around 8-9mo as of late.

Ok... This is killing me. Had a form 4 trust, check cashed 11/24/14, pending 12/31/13, I've called & confirmed everything is good, no issues, and it seems like Sandra Snook doesn't want me to have my suppressor.... I've compared my wait time on NFA tracker to others and I am almost a full month behind. Pickin up my rifle tomorrow... Sure would be nice to have my 30BA to put on it!

Any one from Washington get theirs recently? I'm also behind (compared to others on NFA tracker) with my 22L-1, e-filed & confirmed pending 4/1/14.... Frustrating.

Submitted form 4 - Individual: 12/27/13
Check Cashed: Early January - The dealer sent the check - No exact date.
Pending: 2/11/14
Approved: 7/18/14
Received: 7/25/14

The person I spoke to 2-3 weeks ago, verified that a significant amount of new staffing was working on forms (She didn't believe my serial # so, when she looked it up she talked for a few minutes) -- I was told it would be October/November before mine was approved.

I mailed 2 form 1's Priority Mail 19-DEC-2013. Checks cashed 02-JAN-2014. Called 16-JUL-2014 and told they had just been approved. Received both in the mail last week on 25th of July. NOW, If I can just get the tooling set up right.

You'll be getting one of the LAST .338P-1s being made. Great can. Enjoy.

Is That A Good Thing? Aren't They Just Replacing It With A BA Type Model?

Good thing, yes. Because you'll own an outstanding direct-thread can. They offered the BA model concurrently and both are excellent suppressors, however, some dipshit ran his 338P-1 on a short barrel with hot loads, sending the can downrange like a mortar round. They discontinued the 338P-1 almost immediately to protect future dipshits from any harm.

The P-1 line is OUTSTANDING. I don't shoot unsuppressed, and I'm not interested in a suppressor attached to a brake attached to a barrel.

CYA Zak... I'm not sure the ba would deter me from buying your 338 though. I'm not interested in shooting unsupressed either but giving how Tbac does business, I wont be going anywhere else if I decide I want a 338 can.

Sent in Paperwork/Money Order - 7/8/14
Money order received - 7/10/14
Status changed to Pending - 7/11/14

Am I the only person to ever experience a status change that quickly?! I just got off the phone with them because I wanted to give a few weeks for it to change but they gave me the above date for a pending start.
