Yeah, mines out of date for last several years. They show items pending that I've had approved back in 2020.
I really appreciate what they've done for the form for process and suppresses in general and their internal processes have made it super easy to transfer, but their customer facing interface is absolute dog shit.
So what is the average turnaround time at the ATF now?

Form 4 approved today @1:07 mountain. 33 days. I emailed the nics liason email yesterday on both of my forms and got a response of in process at 0344 this morning.
Coworker ffl came to tell me. Will be picking up Friday.

The SBR Form 1 got approved this morning at 36 days. Certified the day before the form 4.
Just got my TB Magnus. Took eight days.
I was lucky in that I found the Magnus S -RR I wanted in stock at MH. It took be longer to certify than for the approval. Travel and work schedules prevented me from certifying for a couple weeks.

Are tax stamp refunds a thing when you no longer own a taxed item because you sold it? I was told it was possible but the form ATF says to use when googling is for businesses and more geared towards liquor. Anyone have experience at all?
I have now officially been waiting longer on ATF approval than it took the pilgrims to cross the Atlantic on the Mayflower.
A pending Form 4 you request to cancel will be refunded. A denied Form 4 will be refunded. An approved Form 4 can be cancelled and refunded up until you do the 4473 and take possession of the item - there’s no getting your money back after.
Getting to ride the train again. My dealer says my Otter Creek Lithium will be in this week. Hoping after my last two transfers this one will sail on through.
I had 2 on individual trusts come through in 10 days. The one before That was 3.5 weeks about a month before that

For those of you not exactly enjoying the super fast turn around times on individual e-form 4s, can you see your submitted application/documents on the ATF's eforms website? I've looked under all those little links on the left side (under My Forms) and can't find my Form-4s anywhere. I had two of them that were SUBMITTED/IN PROCESS on 10/22/24. I'm guessing there was a huge surge of folks like me getting their applications in before the election in case of a Harris win and now the ATF is bogged down.
You won’t see any in progress eForm 4 in your dashboard because you aren’t the submitter for the eForm 4, the FFL performing the transfer is.
Eh, I submitted mine 9/9, well before the election and still waiting, and plenty of others have submitted them since and now have their NFA items as recorded here on previous pages. I am not so sure the election had anything to do with it.
Agree. I submitted 2 on 9/6, got approved 11 weeks later. I asked Capitol Armory what the average is, and they said it's around 3 months. The ones who get the lucky tickets are still in the minority. Since we already had a very anti-2A administration in place, I'm not convinced that the fear of electing what would essentially be a carbon copy of the current administration would make much difference.

Well, then, here is hoping I am around the average, as that would mean next week.
I submitted one on nov 12th and so did a good friend. He got his back in 48 hours.. he submitted another on Monday this week and got got approved today. Still nothing for me

The approvals all depends on the gun shop you are using. The one I’m using I get mine back in two days. You might want to call around to see what their times are like. The one I use also doesn’t use Silencer shop.
My gun shop uses silencer shop, but they said their average was 10 days. I have been waiting since 9/9.

Can you explain this? How does using silencer shop affect anything? How does what gun shop you use matter?

I know back in the day the gun shop name determined what examiner at the ATF did your form 4 and some worked faster than others. Now in this new era of 1 week form 4s I don't know.
I'm in the same boat. I have an eForm 4 for a suppressor and an eForm 1 for an SBR. The Form 4 is now 2 months in and the SBR is 1 month in (despite having 2 other suppressors and one other SBR already approved in the system).
