Suppressors Form 4 wait time

I bought it on the group buy from Ranger Walker in Dec 2012. By the time it was built and shipped to TX was about 4 months mostly due to an unusually long Form 1 hold.

Looking at 4 months for your next one Eforms.

Well I waited longer than I had to. Found out my suppressor was approved back in Feb, but it's been at my dealer because all he had was the Trust name and didn't know who to contact :p All is well that ends well, so I'm picking up my first suppressor tomorrow!

E-filed my 3 TBAC BA suppressors in mid Nov. (don't remember the exact date), but got the call that all three stamps arrived today :) Looks like we're going to have some quiet fun once I get the muzzle breaks on my 5 DTA barrels!

PS-this a Trust drawn up by a Gun Trust Specialist.

Hey, fellow Hiders! Thought I should share my info and hope it gives someone a sigh of relief...I'll use the same format as some of the previous posts and keep it as smooth as possible.

I know my wait hasn't been as long as some, but nine months is ridiculous for any of us to have to wait, regardless! I am currently in the works to set up an NFA trust and can't wait to e-file something! LOL

Where did you hear that, if I may ask? I'm in the process of having a trust drawn up and I would be pretty pissed if they took away the e-file process.

It was actually posted on the Eforms website. How long? Your guess is as good as anybodies. It needed some major help so maybe they'll do it right this time. Don't be discouraged by it. If you need to paper file then paper file. Class 3 game is not for impatient people and if you are it will teach you patienceance and perseverance!
I have 4 pending Eforms and 9 pending paper forms right now. It's the way it is. :/

I am well aware of the patience needed, as I am already a proud owner. The purpose of my question was because it sounded as though it was rid of all together. On the other hand, if it is to work out bugs and implement a more efficient process then my concerns would be minimal. I appreciate your post/ reply and will have to keep an eye on it.

Does anyone know why it would 10 months from pending to approval for my can? Is it possible in your experience that I may receive it earlier and that they were just giving me the worst case scenario?

My three previous NFA items took 6 months to the day a few years ago.

Or is it partly due to my region/examiner load?

Man this current Gov situation is frustrating!

Bought SBR out of state in January. Form4 sent Jan 23, 2014 and received approved form April 1, 2014. Wow, much faster than the 6 months for my last two items. Now to submit the next form4 from my dealer to me. Would be nice if it took 3 months, but I'm not holding my breath.

Not sure if luck had anything to do with it. Class III Designs hooked me up with great customer service. I followed up with Dustin near the 4 month time frame. You need to contact your dealers and have them check the status. Dustin stated they "ATF" usually emailed the approved form 4 without any prompting. Not in this case, he followed through and received my stamp yesterday. I could have had it 5 days earlier on the 4th. The 30PS works great on the 300BO. The 308 will get a try this weekend to confirm zero.

This site mentions "draft" eForms . What is that?

When maneuvering through a form online, your in - what is known as - draft mode.
The form does not enter into submitted until you meet all the fulfillments, pay, and hit
Submit, and receive a "submitted" confirmation.

People were losing all their work in the middle of the process, or even after paying, because of system crashes.
ATF considers anything that didn't make it to "submitted" confirmation.... In draft.

So I wonder if the ones that got Efiled and were on a 3 to 4 month track got pushed into the paper pile when they crashed the system and are now on a 9 to 12 month track; Or are the Efiled that were "submitted" before the crash still on the short track??
