Several years ago I took a girlfriend out shooting for her first time. We went to a range and had a great time. Her dad had been a cop so she brought his old 38 special and we rented several for her to try.
She is the widow of Stanley Dancer the greatest harness racer of all time (Google him, its worth the read), and thus rubbed shoulders with a lot of celebrities and was on first name basis with Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford, and all the old NY Yankees. When she found out I was a huge fan of those guys she bought me a Whitey Ford Baseball Fantasy Camp shirt. Its way to small for me but should fit an average size 15-16 year old...its a medium. Its a nice polo type shirt, not a T shirt.
If you have a son or daughter who would appreciate who Whitey is and his contribution to baseball, or know someone who does, Ill send it free of charge.
So to close with my standard sports prophecy...
