Hi all,

I'm Ron, 40 years old and from The Netherlands. I've been shooting for 23 years now and recently decided to buy myself a bolt action again. This time, I want to assemble a rifle that can reach out and touch over 1.000 yards, which is a totally unknown territory to me. In the coming months I'll be saving up money, gathering information and asking silly questions to find out what's what.

I'm now building an Excel sheet with:
-Bolt action rifles
-Scopes
-Mounts
-Bipods

All with prices, so if I choose 1 of each category, I get the total price for the build. I'm looking for an entry level bolt action with a 1000 meter capability. So far, I'm very curious about the Tikka T3x CTR, it might be the affordable scratch to my itch.

Welcome, I travelled to Holland after I got out of the army, been into the Dutch Masters since I was young. So I go...

And the damn Rijksmusem was closed for renovation! Halfway around the planet and it was closed. I felt like fucking Clark Griswold at Wally World! At least they had part of the wing with the Vermeers open so it wasn't a total loss. The History museum was awesome though and didn't expect it. Spent all day in the Old Church, got a free private organ concert while the guy was practicing for Christmas, which you guys do right, it feels like Christmas there.

That beer store across from the palace was pretty badass... A basement full of Gueze. Bicycle rush hour is something to behold too.

Then there's the weed but pretty sure we got you beat now.

Love your immigration rules too, learn Dutch in five years and assimilate or get the fuck out (here they get off the boat and wanna setup the same shithole they just left).
