SOLD
FS: 2019 DT MDR 5.56 FDE with extras, reduced to $1800 (includes shipping to your FFL), no trades.
DT MDR 5.56 (2019 version, not MDR-X), comes with JARD Sear Assembly (HERE) $270 value), Lucky Industries Short Aluminum Forend FDE Cerakote ($320 value at the time of purchase, HERE), and spare parts, $122 value (firing pin, cam pin, firing pin retaining pin, extractor and extractor spring). Includes all original parts (polymer forend and original sear assembly, PMAG, case, and paperwork); not willing to part out unless the MDR is sold without the Lucky Irishman forend and Jard Sear.
Does not include Razor G2 1-6, Badger Ord COMM mount or Surefeed magazine.
History of the rifle, purchased during the Black Friday sale DT had in 2019 shortly before the release of the MDR-X, put 500 rounds through it with 12 failure to feed malfunctions, 4 of which were during initial gas setting adjustments. I was using a SiCo Saker 556K on gas setting 1, then moved to 2 where it remained. Functioned fine with American Eagle 5.56 55gr, M855, and IMI Mk262, the remaining malfunctions came from using .223 Norma 55 gr, with the #2 gas setting. I had 1 major malfunction where it required disassembly, caused by a spent case being lodged between the bolt face and the piston rod/charging handle. I attempted to mortar stomp to dislodge the case but ended up breaking the right-side charging handle, it still functioned with the left side charging handle using 5.56 for the last 120 rounds. It was sent in for warranty repair of the charging handle the following week then returned 5 days later with the charging handle repaired and functioning correctly.
I only shot one 5 round group with the IMI Mk262 after initial gas adjustment and zeroing, which was 1.13 MOA. Desert Tech also has a transferable lifetime warranty on the MDR.
All FFL rules apply, I can accept various forms of payment, and will ship as soon as payment is received, usually the day of or day after depending on the time of day.
I have sold and purchased items here on the forum prior to the rating system implementation but do have feedback on AR15.com and Gunbroker under 0331OC.
