That last picture with the multiple optical stimulus, is exactly The Wrong Thing for a person truly suffering from Autism. Maybe the hamburger syndrome which seems to be the du jour of getting public benefits for your child who is a touch different, but Not for True Autism.
Been there, spent my entire working life working with children and adults with developmental disabilities of which Autism was one of the major afflictions. Autism is a serious, serious concern for those who suffer from it. Making cute little songs with tons of verbal and optical stimuli can really set them off. (Think fingernails rubbing across a blackboard at 50BMG or F22 at full afterburner sound levels).
Typical shit by “well meaning” but absolutly stupid new agers. The only Well Meaning is making them selves feel good while totally ignorant, or worse, totally mean spirited efforts towards those their well meaning shit affects.
