He was executioner for 72 years...how old was he when he started?
He was the creepy kid we've all seen in grade school that shows off his knives on the playground during recess.
What do you mean? When I was a kid recess was basically a pocket knife show every day.
Maybe that was after I attended grade school. All of us boys carried pocket knives but regarded them as tools or an ordinary item like a comb or a pencil. My statement was a feeble attempt at humor.
I know a couple of young lads that pulled out their knives in the restaurants. I told them, in front of their father who backed me up, to stop doing that.
All we needed was some butt hurt Karen to call 911 saying that someone was waving a big knife and threatening everyone.
Being kids they didn't listen at first. So every time that me, them and their dad would go out to eat, I would tell them "don't even think about it," when they started to reach in their pocket.
When I was in high school, there was one kid who was creepy in just about everything he said and did. Sadly, he was one of those odd balls that was a poster child for gun control.
I didn't see it happen and the details were extremely fuzzy back then as now. This is the story I heard. He brought a shotgun to school. He let someone look at it. Anyway, he was shot with his own shotgun but wasn't killed.
I saw him a few days later and he told me he got birdshot from chin to shins. I saw the tell-tale blood spots from his chin down his neck.
It beats the heck out of me how he survived. Was it a weak reload he was hit with? I don't know. How far away was he when he was hit? I don't know.
Along with everyone else, I avoided him. He was one of the creeps that talked about weapons all the time. And yes, I have a fascination with weapons but there is a time and place for discussions on that subject.
I was in elementary school when those cap guns that used the plastic "cup" style caps came out (early 60's) We figured out if you drilled out the barrel, it shot the flame out of it. Once in a while someone would bring one to school to show around (keeping it well hidden of course). The worst that happened back then was it was taken away and they sent a note to your parents home with you. Can't imagine the shit-show it would be today. And this was in NJ.
Going to Catholic school as a kid I received my fair share of whacks from the nuns and most of them deservedly so. Still remember the sadistic Sister Leonilda whacking my knuckles with a ruler for some devious deed. Refused to cry and she eventually started crying. When I got home got the Sam Brown belt across my backside for making the sister cry. Some days you can't win for losing.

and he was executioner for 68 yrs ONLY...lol
thats only roughly 7 a yr...not too many considering
