They are amazingly self sufficient and are great at evading predators. They roost in trees.I was just making a guess based on Google. And of course the first image I found was clearly wrong now that I looked at more. Regardless, I assume something will eat it by morning.
And make more noise than anything needs to when in a group. They are amazingly self sufficient and are great at evading predators. They roost in trees.
No kidding! It's like they are all trying to talk over each other and just get louder and louder. It's pretty awesome to see a group of them rip apart a snake. And make more noise than anything needs to when in a group.
This is what happens when they let women be cops. Not sure of the location, but….. someone is headed for the file room View attachment 8249054
Poor little guy has some grass, dirt, rocks, and a log to play with. Meanwhile, momma looks like shes playing on her Obama phone!View attachment 82491571939 Oregon, Josephine County, near Grants Pass.

You forgot the two slices of cheese on each!!!!
My grandparents were similar. My grandfather worked concrete jobs and my grandmother picked berries, hops or did other odd jobs while he was working. My mom and her sister went to many different schools growing up in the 40's and early 50's.Grandparents and my dad when he was little were pickers all over CA and OR. They finally settled in Myrtle Point, OR. Those accomodations look nicer than the stories they told. Most of the time they were in a tent and took it with them as they followed the harvests.
No wonder there were lots of volunteers for the military.View attachment 82491571939 Oregon, Josephine County, near Grants Pass.

The manager is the one who doesn't understand where the revenue stream comes from. The manager is the idiot. And I own a business, so I know what I am talking about. Those types have no home here. Safety is one thing, and it is extremely important, like critical, above all else. But a dude who knows how we keep everyone employed is the new manager. The horseshit manager who wants to cite regulations for no REAL reason other than to justify his desk job can find another home. And no one will cry when he leaves. I greatly prefer to turn workers into managers. I do not like engineers or managers who have not spent time on the floor - what value can they bring if they don't have real world experience?
The man was a real shooter. National champion in Skeet and set two world records in skeet. In World War II he was an instructor in the US Navy in Aerial Gunnery. He was elected to the National Skeet Shooting Hall of Fame. He knew his stuff. Not like today’s quasi tough, cream puffs. Robert Stack. A real man.
So, that’s how they bend and trash all the wheels on there shopping carts

I have been unsuccessful in finding somebody that has experience in production - that is willing to take on the headaches of being a manager. (My job.) It’s true that the main job is keeping folks employed and actually working - while still keeping the company solvent If not making money. I’m approaching retirement age, but don’t really want to screw the owner or the other employees by simply picking a date and walking out the door. But it might end up that way. Nobody wants to accept the responsibilities or is interested in doing any more than punching the clock. And hiring a manager from outside to walk in the door and start would immediately breed contempt from the employees. The owners son didn’t work out because he wasn’t interested in coming to work on time or even every day. LOLThe manager is the one who doesn't understand where the revenue stream comes from. As an hourly supervisor, I carry a phone 24/7, but because workers get longer shifts they surpass the 10% pay bump I get. They also get designated block time off while I get every other weekend-ish. I oversee 10-30 workers for 5 different clients on one site plus whoever else calls. WTF would I want a management role? Just more hassle. Past $200K here in Canada the tax rate is stupid. Managers who don’t have ownership positions are getting screwed while making $$$ for the owner. Better off being a drone most days. My failing is that I get bored.
