My pops was an electrician for Eaton in a transmission plant.
Fixed machines
Got pretty good fixing CNC as time went on. Not bad for a guy with no college learnin.
As they incorporated some robots before he retired, he was their robot guy too.

Back before the govt ruined things, could walk around the plant and see things get done.
Pretty cool.

Learned a lotta words and dirty jokes too! 🤣
 
If you are screwing with old stuff this is a must have tool. Really amazing. You save the nut or bolt if you wish, and best of all it will come off with no damage to threads.

I can't tell you how many times I have used it on my 63 bug.


I anneal my rifle brass with one of these. I wired an electronic timer in parallel with the energize button on this tool. I wound a 7 turn coil from some 10ga copper wire for the purpose. It takes about 6.0 seconds to anneal a neck and shoulder on 6.5 and .308 brass.
