Death wasn’t even a concern. It was the heat those damn things took in on the metal. Slide down it in the summer in shorts and lose half your back leg to it. Cooked and screeeeched right off. I can still hear it. In the winter it iced over and you shot out of it into the next county then you died.

Some next-next level genius at my grade school took an old two story fire escape slide and turned it into a recess tool. Welded up the ladder and a long metal slide plate at the bottom that got amazingly hot. At least once a year that thing would take a child and teach them about friction and gravity. Nobody cared. It was a good time to be a kid.

So, lots of poor families, living off the backs of our taxes and our government’s borrowed dollars, which our taxes help pay the interest. Lots of poor black families and yes, we made them, that is we who are liberals and continue to support this mess.

After all, if you are living on the government’s whim and you live in fear that if that other group is elected, they will cut you off, the thought buoyed by the liberals tales of misery and woe the conservatives will bring upon them, who would you vote for?

Really fucked up? Yep!

There is a solution to this mess. Develop a welfare system that truly rewards marriage and getting a job. As it is currently managed, as soon as a welfare recipient gets a job, they are out of the program. No more medical care, no more free housing free cell phones, no more free anything. Well the medical care is a real issue.

1. Married families get twice the amount of current grant, single parent families get half the amount.
2. Limit the amount of children we will pay for. Family can have as many children as they want, but we only pay for the first two. If one dies early, we can make an exception to add an extra, but that’s it.
3. No passing off children to grandparents, aunts uncles or other relatives, two children get paid for, That’s it. Only to the parents.
4. Reduce benefits as income goes up. Put in place safeguards to keep cheats out
5. Allow Medicaid to continue, at a reduced premium rate as family income grows.
6. When income is sufficient to truly meet the married family’s need, they may continue to receive Medicaid after paying a premium.
7. Dump obama care and offer Medicaid services to anyone willing to pay the premium like we all do who have medical/hospitalization insurance.

Put this in place and liberals will scream their little heads off. How unfair to give people an opportunity to have a real family and some prospect of earning their own living.

Excuses for why losers are losers.
It has nothing to do with "the man". In fact it's the lack of a man. If you look at the fatherless rates among the various racial demographics, you'll see those numbers parallel their makeup of the prison population and are inversely proportional to school performance.

But it's easier to bitch and moan about being a victim than to take responsibility for your life.
