Maggie’s Funny & awesome pics, vids and memes thread (work safe, no nudity)

I have one that visits my front door almost nightly… I used to shoot on sight but no more… now I enjoy them.

There is a study going on outside. DC where there are a lot of foxes in the Potomac green belt… watching them get more and more friendly towards humans. The study is essentially looking at how dogs were domesticated tens or hundreds of thousands of years ago. It may have been more “mutual” than was always assumed.

Dogs and cats saw safety and food around humans and humans saw pest control and their grain stocks saved from rodents. Thus began a beautiful relationship!!!

Unless it’s foaming at the mouth or eating your chickens… enjoy the visits!! Foxes are cool and super smart critters!

Agree, I think they are incredibly adaptive and definitely cool.

General rule, which there's always exceptions to.
If you have a fox that is residential to your area there's usually no coyote in the area. They both have the same diet but the fox is smart enough to not be a meal.

Got a pair in the back of the property, they have a couple of kits every year that I’ve paid attention to them. Never had my chickens killed or any yard animals harassed. They played a game with the wiff and I one night. They would chipper and bark like our Boston terrier and then run ahead of us to do it again. I would whistle back and it drove them nuts. I’ve only seen one coyote on our place and he was a juvenile, it wasn’t around long
