Who gives a shit what this guy feeds wildlife. Some of you idiots don't seem to understand how "wildlife" works. Almost every animal will eat anything they can keep down to survive. Nature is cruel, and so am I.
It says that the deer had a stomach full of bird seed. It didn't say anything about the seeds causing cancer.

I was working in a subdivision when a black bear passed through. All the people came out to see it and a few were getting really close to get pictures. I videoed to save the stooopidity of someone becoming a snack.

Didn't actually read the words just grabbed a pic that looks like wasting disease which is spread from deer to deer and has been observed to increase when supplemental feeding is introduced to the environment or population density increases abnormally which has also been observed in areas where supplemental feeding occurs.

You kept your hummingbird feeder out past June, and now the Humming birds will all die because they won't migrate!!! You MONSTER!". Save it Karen.
Deer and squirrels like eating seeds too, which I don't have too much of a problem with (in winter) as long as they stay the fuck away from my tomatoes in the summer! I've had deer rip a suet block out of a tree and eat that too. Deer don't normally eat pig fat either, but I'm pretty sure with a couple of inches of snow on the ground he/she was happy to have the extra calories...
If people want to feed wildlife, other than bears, coyotes, lions, and shit that is ACTUALLY dangerous or a pest, that's their business, and I'll leave it up to them whether it's dangerous or not. The reason bears are dangerous is because they are the most miserable animals on the planet. How would you like to be that big and require that many calories and live naked in the forest? Yea, they're literally starving all the time, and they need to be treated as such. Feeding a fox...meh. I don't keep chickens or fox food so I'm ambivalent, and thought it was a kewl vid.

If I had mentioned wasting disease in my comments it might have been a tad better but I would have expected to get raked for the pic anyway.
Couple things on this one.
FWIW, I don't think I told him what to do, it's was more about the potential consequences. When people start acting like what they do doesn't have any consequences I find it annoying. If he had said something like "I know this isn't good for them" or "I know I run the risk of one of my grandkids getting rabies" then I probably wouldn't have posted anything. But instead, he made some retarded comment about "I bet other people do it". Do whatever you want as long as it doesn't negatively impact me but at least own it.
There are similar downsides to feeding hummingbirds as well, disease being one, maybe overpopulation but I haven't heard the migration point before.
Under the right conditions they can all be a pest or dangerous. I used to live in a golf course neighborhood with a creek that ran though the middle of the golf course so there were always deer around that were fun to look at. Eventually people starting feeding them so then there were more of them, they started eating landscape, every once in a while somebody would hit one because they started wandering between the houses and on the roads, yada yada ...
Maybe not hummingbirds though, they seem pretty harmless.
I like this style, I expect to be called out as well and try not to get offended. I do bite back when bitten though.

To me its easy to see the difference between between the poormans 97 and the richmans 12 underbelly’s. Since l’m poor there is a 97 inside my safe. When theres hornets nest to deal with the 97 goes to work with that 30” full choke barrel. 
Probably from some idiotic industrial accident not cleaned up properly.... Yeah cancer happens sometimes in nature. But more often than that we are responsible in one way or another. Not to mention all that crap we're putting in Geo engineering.

Cleaned it up good inside ond out, put new wood on it and rabbit hunted with it for nearly 20 before I converted it to trenchie configuration 7 or 8 years ago.
They share safe space with the rest of my meager Winchester collection that includes 4 Model 12's, a pair of 12 gauges and a pair of 20 gauges.

I scratched his head while he was eating apples from my hand. I forgot for a moment that he lived in an area replete with poison oak. He had some oil on his hair, obviously, and the rest is history.
Very uncomfortable, but not sexual. You may retain that fantasy if it helps you in the shower.
