I can't tell you what my work cell phone number is, that I've had for probably ten years or more. But I can remember the words to stupid shit like that from close to fifty years ago.

Worse switching I ever got from mom was after she caught me using a bedsheet as a parachute to jump from the roof. I think it would have worked if there had been enough distance for it to deploy...and the knots held.
She tells people she wasn't sure I would make it to high school.
You don't have to be a southerner to feel that way.
